I am excited that you have chosen to learn more about my business. I hope we can work together for your next photography adventure! I am a full-time mom of two little ones and a full-time wedding and family photographer located in Orange County, California.
I am a small-town girl originally from Northern California (the Central Valley to be exact). I began photographing the world around me at age 16 and went on to study film photography and darkroom processing at my local Community College. I took almost every class they offered. I still shoot film to this day!
I officially started my business in 2011 and I have been serving Southern California for over the last decade with award-winning services. My clients will tell you I bring a warm, comfortable, stress-free atmosphere to photoshoots and weddings alike. I am awesome with children even those with special needs. I have had lots of practice.

Now that we have a date, time, and location, I will send over a quote containing a contract detailing our arrangement and an invoice for initial payment. Once I receive those two things back, you are officially booked on my calendar and I am all yours!
I will also email over wardrobe ideas and helpful tips to make sure your session is as perfect as possible.

You are relaxed and in route. You know exactly where you are going because I have emailed you detailed instructions 2-3 days in advance. The kids are in the car, they are happy, you have everything you need, and you are right on time! Well, hopefully something like that. ;-)

Grab the tissues and prepare to fall in love! About 2 weeks after our session, I will email you a link to your gallery. You will be able to see all of your beautiful photos and decide on which collection is right for you (you'll learn more about the collections below).

Session Fee - $195
Step 1
The Session Fee is due at the time of booking and covers the time and talent of the photographer as well as client wardrobe assistance, location scouting, and the hand editing of your images. Once the session fee and signed agreement has been received, you are officially booked on my calendar. No other clients will be booked on your date and time. Yay!

Travel fees may apply to sessions outside of South Orange County. Details are provided on the Location Guide. Additional Family Members may be added for $25 for each person over the age of 1 year old, and each family/individual is responsible to choose their own collection.

I got my first camera from my dad at age 16, studied darkroom film techniques at 18, and switched to digital in 2009 (even though I still shoot film occasionally). My business officially started in 2011 after a few years of shooting various life events for friends and family. Once I started getting inquiries from strangers, away I went! I can't believe it has been over 10 years. At 5 years in, I was able to leave my corporate employer and work for myself. It has been a wonderful and blessed journey and I am so happy to be here!
Absolutely. Every download will come with a personal print release for you to take to your local print shop or favorite online retailer. Do note, each collection comes with a pretty generous print credit for you to use the contracted professional print lab. I have hand selected each product and lab to make sure I am providing you with the best in the industry. You will not find better quality elsewhere.
You don't! It is totally complimentary. I adore these products so much that I want you to see them, feel them, and love them as much as I do. You will see for yourself the difference between major box retailers and large online retailers. These are truly heirloom pieces. At this time, individual digital images are not for sale and the art credit is non-transferrable.
For sure. I understand that family photos are a luxury and I truly believe everyone should have the opportunity to own beautiful photos and art work but budgets (especially these days) can be tight. I am more than happy to split payments into smaller portions into equal 1/3's or 1/4's, whichever is easier for you!
Generally, I book about a month to a month and a half out. It is very rare I can accommodate same week or the next week appointments but you can always inquire and find out!
Luckily we live in a very forgiving climate. I don't even bother stressing about the weather unless it is 24-48 hours in advance because it ALWAYS changes. If it is looking like there is a change 1-2 days out, we will keep an eye on it and make a call. Sometimes sessions can be switched from evening to morning or vice versa. And don't be worried about a cloudy day. Clouds can be really cool and offer a lot more options on angles since I do not have to shoot working with/around the bright sun. If a sunny day is a must for your vision, I do allow one weather reschedule.
For full sessions, generally, about 50-75 images. For Mini Sessions or shorter periods of time, 30-50.
