The Session Fee
The session fee is paid up front to reserve your time slot. This fee covers the planning and preparation of your session, permit fees, my time photographing your family, and securing your spot on my calendar. It does not include digital images or artwork, that part comes later when you choose your collection.
The Collections
When your photos are ready, you will receive an online gallery to view all of your edited images. From there, you’ll select the collection that feels right for you based on how many images you’d like. Each collection also comes with artwork credit, which you can use in the gallery store toward prints, holiday cards, calendars, matted prints, albums, ornaments, and keepsakes or gifts.

Q: Who are these mini sessions for?
A: Mini sessions are perfect for families who want a quick and easy way to capture updated photos, without committing to a full session. They’re great for parents with little ones (short and sweet is best!), holiday cards, announcements, or anyone who just wants a taste of the Amy Captures Love experience. They are not recommended for extended family sessions. $25 per person for family members added outside of the immediate family of 5 or more.
Q: How much is required up front to reserve my spot?
A: Your mini session is officially reserved once the session fee is paid. This fee covers your time slot and secures your place on my calendar.
Q: How & when will I receive my gallery?
A: You’ll receive a beautiful, fully edited online gallery within 2 weeks of your session. From there, you can choose your favorite images and decide on a collection that fits your needs best.
Q: How do collections work?
A: After your gallery is ready, you’ll get to choose from three different collections based on how many images you’d like to keep. Each collection also includes artwork credit to spend in the gallery store. That way, you only invest in what feels right for you once you’ve seen your photos.

Tucked away and a little more private, the cliffs at Calafia Beach is a hidden gem. It doesn't even look like we are in Orange County! With its pretty cliffs and quieter feel, it’s a gorgeous choice for families who want a unique cliffside backdrop/beach location.

Collection purchases are made separately after your gallery has been delivered, giving you the chance to choose what feels right once you’ve seen your photos. The minimum purchase is the entry-level $395 collection. Digital images and additional items are also available for purchase, but there’s no requirement to add on beyond your chosen collection. Please read all terms and conditions before proceeding with booking. Additional family members over 5 require a $25 per person fee.
